Ms. Heather Pritchard
Speech Language Pathologist
Dear Parents,
My name is Heather Pritchard, and I am honored to be joining the Conn family as the first full-time speech-language pathologist. I am optimistic that the consistency of one full-time speech pathologist will make it easier to establish good, working relationships with you and your students. By working together, we can ensure we are doing our best to help your students experience success.
Although I spent the first nine years of my life in upstate New York, North Carolina has become home to me. After graduating from Apex High School, I moved to the coast where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. A year later, I moved across the state to the mountains where I earned my Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Carolina University. Following the completion of my master’s degree, I began my career as a speech-language pathologist in Alexander County. However, after being gone for nine year, it was time to come back home to Wake County! When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, traveling, going to concerts, and watching sports (Go Wolfpack, Hurricanes, and Yankees!).
Again, I am very grateful to be a part of the Conn family this year and look forward to working with your students. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or (919) 856-7637. Go Cougars!
